If you have the misfortune to have to call for our service, here are a few tips to assure the best response from City Wide Towing.

• Know exactly where you are. Look for an address, a name of a building, a street corner nearest to you, or a landmark. Note the direction of travel and even which side of an intersection you are on. (West side, North side, etc.) This information makes the difference in whether or not we can even find you. Poor information would make the driver do a radius search of the location given. If you aren't within a block of where you said you are, the call is GOA (Gone on Arrival).

• Have you're license number ready and a good description of the vehicle. Year, make, model and plate.

• Try to pin point the problem. If we know what is wrong, we can send the right truck and tow it the right way. Please don't say it just quit when in fact the rear wheel is falling off.

• Leaving a phone number where you are calling from assures that if we can't find you, we can always call you back.

• How to pay the driver is always an unexpected expense. You may not have enough cash. We do except credit cards, but not cheques. If no credit card is available, you can always take it to a station. They will usually pay the tow bill for you because they have your car for repair.

These are the more important questions you will be asked. If it's a very cold day and we are running several hours behind, you may have better luck calling your local service station or dealership.
